This is always the shortest
week of the year and we always leave wishing we had
another day or two...so, we leave looking forward
to next year.
We loved your cottage. It
was so comfy and had so many pleasures of home.
Thank you for a lovely stay
in this wonderful house. The kids were especially
appreciative of your library of children's books and
games. We loved the view, the iron puzzles and the
thoughtful and thorough notebook of suggestions.
WOW! That's the first thing that comes to mind while driving onto MDI. It's also the first thought when driving into the cute little wooded driveway labeled "Spruce Cottage." The grounds are beautiful, the views outside the bedroom window (and a short walk along the road) are unreal!
What a wonderful time we had during our week at your lovely Spruce Cottage. The cottage is in the perfect location being so close to the water, with the quaint town dock a short bike ride away. We loved how clean and well maintained the property was, as well as being spacious enough for two couples to share so comfortably. It was very pleasant to return to the serenity of Spruce Cottage after a day of exploring and activity on that beautiful island. The back deck was a peaceful place to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature attracted by your little pond. We very much enjoyed our stay, and hope to return in the future!
Like everyone else who stayed here, I dreaded having to leave. The cottage is wonderful and the little 'touches' you provided made the place seem more like a home...
We love the Griffiths Farmhouse for many reasons. Top on the list: it has the best view of ocean and mountains on MDI. Also, Greening Island, gorgeous Hinkley sailboats and picnic boats, and picturesque lobster boats. There is a nice little pond that attracts families of ducks. And the sky at twilight is amazing! The house is charming inside: artistically decorated, very comfortable, sunny and bright! Overall, a joy.
